Anthony Jones Engineering will return this season as a supporting sponsor and will be offering some incentive for our racers in both the Drag Radial and Outlaw 8.5 classes. AJE is putting up one thousand dollars towards AJE parts and labor to each of the points champions in the Drag Radial and Outlaw 8.5 classes. With our season ending in October, it is the perfect time to have your chassis components updated for the following season. And with an incentive like this from AJE, they are the perfect place to take your ride. Glad to have you guys back for 2009! About AJE “In 1990 AJE was born! While I was still at Cummins we started with our wheelie bars then added the access doors. After building our tube chassis 1990 Mustang Super Gas car we introduced the AJE tube chassis struts. In October 1993 we received a SN95 Mustang from Ford and built another Super Gas tube chassis car. This car was featured in numerous magazines and received a Best Engineered Award. Then we introduce the window net kits and in 1998 we released our 2" dropped spindled strut assembly for the Mustangs. After the Mustang struts we felt a need for a new k-member design so in 1999 came out with the Y2K-Member.” says founder Anthony Jones. "Now we have front-end kits for Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, Mopars, Thunderbirds, and 1st generation Lightning Trucks. With our commitment to quality parts others will be added! We believe in customer service so if you ever have a problem with our product please contact us at 800-877-7233!" AJE Racing 6235 N. Co. Rd. 275 W. So here I am on my way to a photo shoot this afternoon. The sun is out, but it’s still freezing and there is plenty of snow and ice around. I leave the house, make all the necessary turns and begin to merge on the highway. The cool thing about getting on 275 East is that the merge lane actually turns into a real lane (the slow lane). I proceed to get on the highway with several cars behind me and I notice two tractor trailers ahead. One is in the slow lane, and one in the fast lane, go figure. I could either slow down and get behind the truck on the left forcing him into the middle lane at some point, or I could just ease into the middle lane and slip between the two. |
