A few words from our 2008 Outlaw 8.5 Champion

Well it’s time to take a look back and see what we did last year and to find the next fast combo. I think if the rules are the same as 2008 or close we are going to change some things with the car. The car will be totally new from front to back with all the updates I have learned during the 2008 year. I would like to keep it on 8.5s but if this new combo works like I think then I might move to another class to see what it can do with big boots.

I want to thank those that helped this past year. Hoosier Tire: if those tires are not on every car next year then those who don’t have them are in the Stone Age. Thanks for all of the information and help from VP Racing Fuels. Running there Q16 showed me that alky is not all that. The Q16 is an amazing fuel that works great on an N/A combination. There is also a plug wire company that makes a great wire, till this year I never heard of them and they are Fire Core 50. I used them all last year and the wires held up very good. The thing I noticed the most is the plug ends still snapped when I put them back on at the end of the year my others never held up that good. I will be using them again in 2009.
